DECLARACIÓN DE EMERGENCIA: LIBERTAD PARA NUESTRA VECINA AHORA

Socialistas Sin Fronteras (Socialists Without Borders)

EMERGENCY DECLARATION: FREE OUR NEIGHBOR NOW

Socialists Without Borders (Socialistas Sin Fronteras)
San Francisco, February 14, 2026

Yesterday, Friday, February 13, Diamond Heights became the scene of state terror. An elderly nanny, a woman who has spent her life caring for the children of this city, was hunted down by ICE in a coordinated ambush. Agents in unmarked vehicles followed her, cornered her in a driveway, and seized her. With faces covered and acting with unjustifiable aggression, they refused to show a warrant or properly identify themselves before abducting her in front of her workplace.

The San Francisco Rapid Response Network has confirmed the brutality of this operation. Yet Mayor Daniel Lurie and the city establishment are attempting to downplay it as routine federal enforcement. There is nothing routine about masked agents kidnapping a worker in broad daylight. By allowing the abduction of a neighbor in our own backyards, local authorities become complicit in an act that has no moral or political legitimacy. We reject this complicity. We demand her immediate and unconditional release.

The Fracturing Atlantic Axis

Britain’s Strategic Drift, China’s Rise, and the Illusion of a New Order

By CJ Korpaczewski

For decades, the Anglo-American alliance appeared immovable. Politicians invoked shared history. Commentators invoked shared values. The “special relationship” was treated as geopolitical fact.
In reality, it was something much more material: a class arrangement.
After World War II, Britain no longer possessed the industrial base or financial leverage to lead a global empire. The United States did. Britain adapted by embedding itself within a U.S.-dominated system. The City of London became indispensable not by rivaling Wall Street, but by servicing it. British diplomacy reinforced American strategy. British military power supplemented American force projection.
It was not equality. It was managed subordination.
That arrangement endured as long as U.S. imperialism could provide something crucial: coherence. The United States functioned as organizer of global capitalism. It set monetary rules. It stabilized trade corridors. It coordinated security architecture.
Today, that organizing capacity is visibly strained.

Solidarity with the SFUSD Teachers’ Strike: A Front Against Systemic Exclusion

San Francisco, February 11, 2026

Socialists Without Borders salutes the 6,000 striking teachers and staff of the San Francisco United School District (SFUSD). These educators – members of the United Educators of San Francisco (UESF), have been preparing for months, organizing and building the strength to take this necessary stand against a system designed to maximize corporate profits while impoverishing the City’s workers. It is past time we said, ‘Enough!’

SFUSD is a working-class district where more than half of all students come from low-income households. Our students—Asian, Latino, and Black—are the children of the workers who keep San Francisco running every day. More than half of all students have at least one immigrant parent, under the constant shadow of state violence. Students from immigrant families go to school while ICE hunts their parents at the school gates. Our public schools are the frontline of a struggle for survival.

[Published by El Socialista Centroamericano]

Venezuelan Left’s United Front: Rejecting US Imperialist Aggression and Neocolonial Collaboration!

[English Translation by Socialists Without Borders]

REJECT THE MILITARY AGGRESSION AND THE IMPERIALIST OFFENSIVE!

NO TO THE NEOCOLONIAL COLLABORATION OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT WITH THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION!

FULL DEMOCRATIC FREEDOMS TO FIGHT AGAINST NEOCOLONIAL PRETENSIONS AND FOR ALL THE RIGHTS OF THE WORKING PEOPLE!

The organizations participating in the National Summit in Defense of the People’s Rights and other anti-imperialist currents, from a position of class independence and from any other oppressive power factor, position ourselves in the face of the serious situation our country is going through after the criminal attacks perpetrated by the United States and the government of Donald Trump on Venezuelan soil, and we assume the defense of Venezuela’s right to self-determination and national sovereignty, calling for the rejection of the military aggression and imperialist offensive against the country.

  1. Condemnation of the vile U.S. military aggression on Venezuelan soil

We express our most categorical repudiation of the bombings carried out by the government of Donald Trump in the early hours over Caracas and various areas of the national territory on the past January 3. We denounce this action as a flagrant violation of sovereignty, a criminal aggression against the Venezuelan people whose consequence is translating into the imposition of a government under imperialist tutelage in Venezuela, whose mission is to impose a colonial agenda on the nation, our oil, and its strategic resources.

Unleashing the General Strike: Workers’ Response to State Terror and Bipartisan Repression

AFTER JANUARY 23: THE GENERAL STRIKE IS THE ONLY ACTION EQUAL TO THE ATTACK

Statement by Socialists Without Borders — January 28, 2026

We must be clear and direct with our community: we are facing a calculated campaign of State Terror. This is the reality we live in: a regime that seeks to break the will of the working class through blood, surveillance, and fear. We are living under a de facto state of siege, where the state kills with impunity and constitutional protections have been swept away. This situation is unacceptable. We must recognize how we arrived at this point: this nightmare was made possible by the Patriotic Acts and repressive legislation voted for overwhelmingly by both Democrats and Republicans. Together, they have stripped away due process and removed democratic liberties from everyone. We are now in a legal vacuum where the state can kidnap and kill any member of our society without accountability.

SOLIDARITY WITH MINNEAPOLIS

FOR A GENERAL STRIKE

WORKER UNITY AGAINST ICE TERROR

Statement by Socialists Without Borders — January 22, 2026

We salute all workers, youth, and families who tomorrow, January 23, 2026 will stand up in struggle in every corner of this country. We send our most fraternal embrace to the people of Minneapolis, whose courage in the face of ICE crimes has mobilized our communities.

Today’s action is a landmark in the movement we have been promoting. On October 24, 2025, we took a bold step when we picketed ICE’s San Francisco detention center calling for a general strike. Today, with that experience, we join the struggle taking place across the country.

Tomorrow we march for Mateo Terán, who died in custody; for Renee Nicole Good, the working mother fatally shot in the face by ICE agents; and for everyone else who has suffered in this outrageous state violence.

These tragedies are not isolated incidents. They are the vicious attacks of the captains of capitalism seeking to divide our community by fear and violence. We must be clear: immigrant workers are WORKERS, and workers’ organizations have the responsibility to defend ALL workers and oppressed people from these attacks. If an injury to one is really an injury to all, then our class can and will respond to the state’s brutality with labor action unlike any the people of the United States have ever known.

The pillars of our community are already on the front lines. We send our greetings to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC), in full solidarity with the mobilizations against ICE in Minneapolis. We also greet the Communities Organizing Latinx Power and Action (COPAL) in complete accord with their organization of the power of midwestern families. We salute the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON), who defend workers throughout the country. We also recognize the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity, who today began a Multifaith Solidarity Fast in front of San Francisco City Hall. Tomorrow, they will mobilize toward the ICE offices on Sansome Street to demand justice for Guillermo Medina Reyes, a Bay Area artist and activist, survivor of detention center abuse and ICE retaliation. We demand justice for all victims of state violence. We are with you, comrades, and we will be out tomorrow, too.

We recognize that the unions are also moving and joining this call. In the Bay Area, we salute the participation of Service Employees International Union Local 1021, International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 10 and 34, United Educators of San Francisco, UNITE HERE Local 2, and the California Nurses Association. They are joined by national forces such as Minneapolis Federation of Teachers Local 59, Service Employees International Union Local 26, UNITE HERE Local 17, United Food and Commercial Workers, National Education Association, Chicago Teachers Union, rank-and-file sectors of the Teamsters, Amazon Labor Union, United Auto Workers, Communication Workers of America, American Postal Workers Union, United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America, National Nurses United, Amalgamated Transit Union, Transport Workers Union, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and Starbucks Workers United.

This union mobilization, however, must take a decisive step: it is time to break with the Democratic Party. The Democrats are working hand in glove with the Trump Administration and ICE, partially by preventing mass labor actions through their death grip on the union bureaucrats who have the labor movement in a chokehold. The Democrats criticize ICE on the news, then with the same breath call for stronger border protections. They must be held to account alongside those who kidnap, detain, and deport those under attack — if they don’t outright murder them. They are all responsible.

Meanwhile, the true strength of unions lies in their political independence and their ability to directly impact the structures that oppress us all. You have the power to strike in unison against not only wages and working conditions, but also state violence. Liberation will not come by voting and campaigning for those who finance ICE terror, but from our own readiness and our willingness to use the power of the general strike to shut down capitalism and force its captains to meet our terms.

We invite you to raise your voices to demand that all Labor Councils put themselves at the front of the struggle, like they always claim they to be. Formal endorsement is fine, but what we really need is for their endorsement to mean something shoulder to shoulder with us in struggle. We are happy to include your logo on our flyers, but that doesn’t mean much without real protections for workers in their workplaces and in the streets.

Our program is clear: Abolish ICE, Papers for All, and an End to Deportations. We maintain that those who produce the wealth of this country have the right to remain in it without fear. Tomorrow, community and union organizations will prove to be the primary tool to stop the abuses of la migra.

It is past time for everyone to join the fight.
