We commend the activities organized by A15. Activists in cities all over the world coordinated action to disrupt economic activity in support of the Palestinian people currently under a murderous siege by the State of Israel. These actions, while small, were well coordinated and received a lot of attention. The next mobilization will be on International Workers’ Day, May 1, 2024, one day of coordinated international actions again aiming to disrupt economic activity with the goal of ending the State of Israel’s occupation of Palestine.

Desde el 7 de octubre de 2023, las Fuerzas Israelíes de Ocupación financiadas por los Estados Unidos han masacrado a más de 30,000 palestinos en Gaza. El número real de muertos y heridos es seguramente mucho más alto, y el número de víctimas aumenta cada hora. Al momento de escribir esto, más de un millón de palestinos están acorralados en Rafah, con las Fuerzas Israelíes de Ocupación esperado para intensificar su campaña de bombardeos asesinos con una invasión terrestre igualmente letal que multiplicará el número de muertos, heridos o expulsados. Aquellos que queden estarán sujetos a la hambruna y a las enfermedades generadas por el corte de suministro de provisiones, de agua y combustible durante los últimos cinco meses.

STATEMENT FROM SOCIALISTS WIT HOUT BORDERS

Since October 7, 2023, the US-funded Israeli Occupation Forces have massacred more than 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza. The actual number of dead and injured is surely much higher, and the victim count rises every hour. As of this writing, over a million Palestinians are cornered in Rafah, with the Israeli Occupation Forces expected to intensify their murderous bombing campaign with an equally lethal ground invasion that will multiply the number of dead, injured, or expelled. Those who remain will be subjected to famine and diseases caused by the cutting off of supplies, water, and fuel for the past five months.

Socialists Without Borders

Once again, Argentina finds itself in a profound economic crisis and appears to be heading towards a pre-revolutionary situation. The struggles that have already begun will define whether the country plummets into an even more undemocratic and dictatorial society, further precarized, with rampant social decay, or if it rebounds towards the establishment of workers’ power organs under the leadership of revolutionary organizations capable of overthrowing the current anti-worker government and regime, which defends the military caste, and establish a workers’ government.

Una vez más, Argentina se encuentra en una profunda crisis económica y parece dirigirse hacia una situación pre-revolucionaria. Las luchas que ya han iniciado definirán si el país precipita su caída hacia una sociedad más antidemocrática y dictatorial, aún más precarizada, con decadencia social rampante o si repunta hacia la constitución de organismos de poder de los trabajadores bajo la dirección de organizaciones revolucionarias capaces de derrocar al presente gobierno y régimen anti-obrero y defensor de la casta militar e imponer un gobierno de trabajadores.

We congratulate FITU (AKA the Trotskyist left in Argentina) for their results obtained in the national elections of October 22, 2023, in which they received close to 800,000 votes (about 2.7% of the votes). FITU – the electoral coalition of the Workers’ Left Front-Unity – presented a presidential ticket headed by Miriam Bregman, a prominent human rights lawyer who is active in the Socialist Workers’ Party. We hope that this success strengthens the unity of the Argentine left and helps to prepare for the major struggles that are coming in the streets, workplaces, and in the struggles of oppressed communities, from the movement of the unemployed to the original communities.

Felicitamos a la izquierda trotskista de Argentina por los resultados electorales obtenidos en las elecciones nacionales del 22 de octubre pasado en las que obtuvieron cerca de 800,000 votos.  La polarización electoral de esta elección fue producto de la irrupción de la candidatura reaccionaria de extrema derecha de Milei y redujo al mínimo la franja electoral de la izquierda debido al temor de amplios sectores de votantes que llevaron a Massa a posicionarse en primer lugar en las elecciones generales [con 37% de los votos] e hizo chocar a Milei con un techo de votos propios del orden del 30%.

Denunciamos al Estado de Israel por la escalada de su guerra genocida contra el pueblo palestino. Debe detenerse. ¡Ahora!

• ¡Alto a los ataques de las fuerzas armadas del Estado de Israel! Llamamos a los trabajadores, soldados, jóvenes y las comunidades oprimidas de Israel a que utilicen su fuerza organizada para poner fin a los ataques aéreos contra Gaza, detener la invasión de Gaza y restaurar los servicios esenciales en Gaza. Fin al bloqueo de Gaza. Liberación de todos los palestinos detenidos en cárceles israelíes. Retirada de todas las fuerzas de ocupación y asentamientos e iniciar negociaciones de buena fe para la devolución de la tierra. Respeto al derecho de retorno de todos los palestinos convertidos en refugiados por el Estado de Israel. 
• ¡Fuera Estados Unidos del Medio Oriente! La opresión israelí de los palestinos está patrocinada por Estados Unidos. Los trabajadores, soldados, jóvenes y los oprimidos en Estados Unidos deben utilizar su fuerza organizada para detener el envío de dinero y armamento a Israel y forzar la retirada de los portaaviones de la Marina de EE. UU. y los Marines del Mediterráneo. 
• ¡Por los plenos derechos a la autodeterminación del pueblo palestino en una Palestina libre, laica y socialista!

We denounce the State of Israel in its escalation of its genocidal war against the Palestinian people. It must stop. Now.

• IDF stand down! For the workers, soldiers, youth, and oppressed people of Israel to use their organized strength to end the airstrikes against Gaza, prevent the invasion of Gaza, and restore essential services to Gaza. 
• End the blockade of Gaza. Free all Palestinians held in Israeli prisons. Withdraw all occupying forces and settlements and initiate good faith negotiations for the return of land. Uphold the right of return for all Palestinians made refugees by the State of Israel.
• U.S. out of the Middle East! Israeli oppression of Palestinians is sponsored by the United States. Workers, soldiers, youth, and oppressed people in the United States must use their organized strength to stop the delivery of money and weaponry to Israel and to force the withdrawal of the U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and Marines from the Mediterranean.
